Fathers Care Incorporated held their annual Leadership Conference at the Mercure Hotel, Liverpool. We had the absolute pleasure of having Pastor Peter Sewell join us from Germany as our guest speaker, as well as our very own Pastor Rekha Lal.
The event truly reflected our primary desire as an organisation of uniting with other communities and building a collective community, gathered under the banner of desiring to learn about how to be an effective leader within our respective spears of influence. We had the pleasure of having delegates join us from different domestic and international ministries.
Pastor Peter and Pastor Rekha engaged and challenged the preconceptions we had regarding ‘what it means to be a leader’, ultimately equipping and encouraging each delegate that the grace of God empowers us to rise up in our spear of calling and make a positive influence in the world. We were inspired to break the four walls of ‘church’ and be relevant rather than religious.
Through anointed worship, interactive workshops, enriching teachings and joyous fellowship, the event was able to be an absolute success. We hope all of our delegates had a pleasant experience and hope to see you all next year!
